A concrete housekeeping pad sits atop a structural slab on grade with a minimum thickness ranging from four to six inches. Number three reinforcing dowels with standard ninety-degree hooks are anchored into drilled holes using epoxy at twelve inches on center at the perimeter and twenty-four inches on center each way at the interior. The pad is reinforced with number three bars at twelve inches on center each way with three-quarters of an inch of typical clearance. Vertical corners feature a three-quarters of an inch chamfer and horizontal edges have a half-inch radius.
