A concrete slab reinforced with welded wire fabric bears on a steel beam or girder running parallel to the deck orientation. Shear studs are welded through the deck into the top flange of the beam per general structural notes. A typical one-inch clearance is maintained at the beam centerline. General notes apply to all similar details unless noted otherwise.
