A precast concrete wall panel connection is secured by a 5/8-inch by 4-inch wide steel plate embedded within a block-out pocket over a 1/2-inch steel plate. Three number 5 reinforcing bars, each 4 feet long, lap with the panel chord reinforcing at vertical spacings of 4 inches and 5 inches. A channel ledger is attached to the wall via an embedded angle with a 1/4-inch fillet weld, while the embed plate utilizes a 3/8-inch fillet weld on three sides and a 1/2-inch weld. Panel thickness is specified per panel elevations.
