An angle strut consisting of two L3x3x1/4 angles is connected between a perimeter wide-flange beam and an interior wide-flange beam. Connection at each end utilizes three-eighths-inch plates welded with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds and fastened with two three-quarters-inch diameter A325N bolts. The double angles are joined along their length with stitch bolts spaced at four feet six inches on center maximum with a two-inch minimum. Section A-A details a three-eighths-inch square plate secured with a three-quarters-inch diameter A325 slip-critical bolt.
