Concrete fill on metal deck features a construction joint running either parallel or perpendicular to the deck orientation. Welded wire fabric continues uninterrupted through the construction joint. Interlocking keys are provided at the joint interface within the concrete fill. The metal deck supports the concrete slab across both conditions.
