A built-up hollow structural section column splice at a spreader beam connection. The assembly incorporates a one-quarter-inch thick by five-inch wide by four-inch long plate secured with one three-quarter-inch diameter A307 bolt with a vertical LSL through plate on each side typically. Connection angles sized L4x4x3/8 are attached with three-sixteenth-inch welds on each side. Additional welding details feature five-sixteenth-inch welds spaced at three inches typically, alongside one-quarter-inch welds on each side typically. Bracket elevations are coordinated per the supplier.
