This assembly features two wide flange beams connected to the web of a wide flange column using bolted shear plates. Each beam is secured with a double column of bolts as specified in detail 4/S202. The roof deck sits atop the beams and is attached per the project schedule. This specific connection configuration is required at perimeter columns where beams occur on both sides, while a standard single column connection is used where beams do not occur on the opposite side.
