A structural steel stair stringer connects to a concrete wall using a twelve-inch by six-inch by one-half-inch steel plate with two horizontal laminated strand lumber members. The steel plate is secured to the concrete wall per plan using two three-quarter-inch diameter Kwik Bolt TZ2 expansion anchors with four inches of embedment. A quarter-inch plate with a seal weld connects the stair stringer to the assembly. Cross-laminated timber stair treads are supported within the stair stringer assembly.
