An elevator guide rail attaches to a support bracket per manufacturer specifications with two inches of field adjustment. The assembly incorporates a quarter-inch by ten-inch by twenty-inch steel plate and typical quarter-inch by ten-inch side plates welded to a structural support column. Dimensions range from two and one-quarter inches minimum to four and three-quarters inches maximum with a one and three-quarter inch offset.
