An angle connection features a supporting member tied to a supported steel section using structural steel angles sized L4x3 1/2 on both the near side and far side with a minimum thickness of three-eighths of an inch. Attachment includes W1 welds typically applied to the angle connections. Bolting rows conform to designation R1 per bolting note 8 on design drawing A8KM-PP-000-43000-D unless otherwise noted on design drawings.
