A mechanical equipment housekeeping pad rests on a structural slab over high-density rigid insulation. The pad is reinforced with 4x4 W2.9xW2.9 welded wire fabric and number four dowels spaced at sixteen inches on center with a continuous number four bar, anchored into the existing slab with a three-inch minimum embedment. The edge of the pad features a three-quarter-inch chamfer.
