Cold-formed metal studs are braced horizontally with a thirty-three-mil taut flat strap having a minimum width of one and one-half inches. The strap is fastened to each stud flange with number ten screws. A track section is installed at each opening, end of wall, and at ninety-six inches on center. Three number ten screws fasten the track section. A finish surface is indicated on one side of the framing.
