The inside corner hollow structural section girt connects to the building frame at the grid intersection. Two 1/2-inch by 3-1/2-inch by 6-inch plates secure the assembly with two 3/4-inch diameter A325-SC-OVS bolts spaced at 3 inches on center. A cap plate thickness matches the hollow structural section, and a girt bracket is provided per sheet E20/S-560. Welds sized at 3/16-inch are specified on four sides.
