Cold-formed steel framing bears on a six-inch concrete slab sized per plan. Double studs match the size and gauge of typical studs spaced at sixteen inches on center. Power-actuated fasteners with a 0.157-inch diameter and one-and-one-quarter-inch embedment anchor each side of the double stud. Number 10 self-tapping metal screws fasten each side at each jamb stud typically.
