This connection features a wide-flange beam bolted to a gusset plate assembly that is integrated with a hollow structural section column. The beam web is connected via a bolted plate on each side, with bolt spacing and quantities determined by the connection schedule. A buckling restrained brace connects to the gusset plate, which is provided by the buckling restrained brace supplier along with necessary column stiffeners. The hollow structural section column is capped with a three-quarter-inch thick cap plate. A secondary beam connection is shown on the opposite side of the column, also sized per the typical connection schedule.
