A hollow structural section is positioned centrally against a one-half-inch steel embed plate with matching side plates on each flank. Dimensions for spacing and edge distances are specified per the buckling-restrained braced frame supplier. The assembly is secured with multiple anchor or bolt locations distributed symmetrically across the embed plate.
