A beam framing connection where a carried beam connects to a supporting beam via a shear tab. The connection utilizes a WT5x22.5 or WT7x26.5 structural tee cut to fit, welded to the supporting beam flange with a one-quarter-inch fillet weld on two sides typical. The carried beam web fastens to the shear tab using standard unslotted bolt holes with a one-inch minimum clearance. Top of beam elevations vary as specified per plan, and structural steel elevations are coordinated accordingly.
