An elevator door frame is mounted against a metal stud partition system with three frame clips per jamb. The hollow metal frame is filled solid with grout for rigidity. A bead of sealant is applied at the interface between the frame and the partition wall finish. The car frame aligns with the door opening at the specified sill dimension.
