The beam-to-column web connection features a bolted shear tab welded to the column, with five-sixteenth-inch typical welds and horizontal one-half-inch stiffener plates top and bottom matching the beam flange. The beam-to-column flange connection utilizes typical one-half-inch top and bottom plates, with three-quarter-inch thick cap plates used at the roof, and varying fillet weld sizes of one-quarter inch and five-sixteenth inch typically and for members greater than or equal to W24x. The beam-to-girder and beam-to-beam connections utilize typical one-half-inch by four-inch plates with bolted webs, detailed with specific weld sizes and minimum four-inch clearances. Section B-B and Section A-A illustrate flange and web plate alignments with one-half-inch typical dimensions. All welds must meet CVN filler metal requirements.
