An angle bracing connects to the structural steel beam per plan using a three-quarter-inch maximum gusset plate. The gusset plate and angle are secured with structural bolts fastened through the beam web and flange. The vertical spacing maintains a seven-inch dimension from the top flange of the beam to the connection point.
