A C12 structural channel frames the stair landing, supported from above by a threaded hanger rod with top-of-landing elevation control. A continuous L2x2x3/8 angle ledger welded to the channel supports a 10-gauge metal pan landing. An intermediate hollow structural section member and L2x2x1/4 angles support 12-gauge metal pans at the treads and risers. Fillet welds of one-quarter inch size secure the connection angles to the channel top and bottom.
