An inframing wide-flange beam utilizes a full-depth stiffener plate centered on a hollow structural section post, welded with a quarter-inch fillet weld on both the near side and far side. A bent plate measuring five-eighths of an inch by ten inches by one foot zero inches is anchored with two three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch long studs at eight inches on center. Angle sections measuring six by four by three-eighths of an inch are positioned on each side of the hollow structural section post and secured with three-quarter-inch diameter ASTM A307 bolts in vertical long-slotted holes. A five-sixteenths-inch bent plate is detailed on three sides where the elevator guiderail post occurs.
