A structural steel beam framing connection occurs adjacent to an exterior cold-formed steel stud wall. The assembly features a concrete slab over a metal deck supported by a steel beam, which connects to the framing with a continuous 1/4-inch by 5-inch plate. The exterior wall incorporates 6-inch by 18-gauge metal studs spaced at 16 inches on center with a top track of 6-inch by 16-gauge continuous metal track. Wall finishes and exact dimensions are coordinated with architectural drawings.
