Three conditions for routing pipes or conduits with a maximum diameter of six inches through slab-on-grade and footing assemblies. Condition A positions the sleeve entirely below the slab and above the footing with a minimum one-inch clearance. Condition B places the sleeve entirely within the footing maintaining a minimum three-inch clearance. Condition C locates the sleeve entirely below the footing, requiring a minimum six-inch lean concrete encasement around the sleeve over the entire footing width. Multiple sleeves require a minimum twelve-inch clear spacing, and conduit groups spanning more than two feet must incorporate a twelve-inch spacing between groups.
