A buckling-restrained brace connects to a structural column and framing member below a slab on metal deck. The buckling-restrained brace is sized per the frame elevation. Gusset and stiffener plates are provided by the buckling-restrained brace manufacturer. The column and framing are sized per the framing elevation and plan, supporting the slab on deck above.
