A three-eighths inch bent plate secures the stair stringer to the concrete masonry unit wall, anchored into the masonry cells with three-quarter inch diameter by six inch long non-shrink adhesive anchors spaced at eight inches on center. A four-inch fillet weld connects the stringer to the embed plate. A one-quarter inch cap plate is seal-welded all around the top of the stringer and ground smooth to eliminate sharp edges. The landing assembly features a concrete-filled metal deck supported by the stringer, utilizing twelve-gauge riser and pan components. Each end of the stair tread is reinforced with a two-by-two by one-quarter inch angle, and the assembly includes a two-inch concrete fill over the metal deck.
