A concrete slab connects to a manufacturer-cut hollowcore concrete panel with a two-inch maximum clearance at the core cut. Top and bottom reinforcement consists of number five bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way, supplemented by number eight bars at twelve inches on center and a hook-ended number four bar spaced at twenty-four inches on center with four-inch leg lengths. A two-inch clear cover is maintained throughout the concrete assembly.
