A steel truss girder bears onto a structural column using a 3/4-inch by 14-inch plate with four 3/4-inch diameter machine bolts. A 7/8-inch by 7-inch by 34-inch Grade 50 knife plate connects the top chord, with sizing subject to joist and girder manufacturer verification for wind uplift requirements. A 3/4-inch by 6-inch by 0'-6" plate is welded to the column assembly with typical fillet welds, left unwelded at the girder connection per drawing notes. Fillet welds of 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch sizes secure the gusset and stiffener plates throughout the joint.
