Skewed beam connections frame into both columns and supporting beams at angles ranging from 30 to 60 degrees. Full-height shear tabs connect the skewed framing members, with plate thicknesses sized per the structural schedule and specific details. Welds are specified on three sides with clearance dimensions allowing up to three inches maximum. Notes direct the installer to alternate details when framing angles exceed sixty degrees.
