A buckling-restrained brace connects to a gusset plate framing into the steel column flange and beam web intersection at the roof level. The pin-connected brace aligns with the work point at the structural grid intersection. Additional framing elements and gusset stiffeners transfer lateral loads into the primary structural frame according to engineering requirements.
