An HSS4x4 hanger attaches to a wide-flange beam above per plan and connects to an HSS6x4 beam below. A three-eighths by three-inch plate is welded on each side with a three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld on three sides. A three-quarter-inch diameter erection bolt passes through a vertical short slotted hole in the HSS beam to allow movement. Additional connection details are referenced on sheet S6.4, and glazing supports are provided by others per architectural drawings.
