A structural steel kicker braces against a bare metal deck running parallel to the flutes. A twelve-gauge bent plate spanning four low flutes secures the connection, fastened to the deck with one-quarter inch diameter screws at each low flute. Four number ten sheet metal screws connect the kicker to the bent plate assembly.
