Roof scuppers and overflow scuppers are framed within the structural panel with two number five reinforcing bars placed typically around the openings minimum. The primary roof scupper size and type is coordinated per architectural plans and omitted where interior roof drains occur, while overflow scuppers are sized per architectural plans. Scupper openings are located at the low point of the roof unless otherwise noted on panel elevations. Panel piers feature reinforcing bars cut three inches above and below where interrupted by openings. Scupper openings maintain a minimum spacing of eight inches between openings and from panel joints.
