A precast girder bears on a neoprene pad resting atop a steel bearing plate anchored into the concrete column corbel. The three-quarter-inch by nine-inch by twenty-four-inch bearing plate is welded to four number seven headed reinforcing bars embedded in the concrete. The corbel is reinforced with four number six vertical bars and six number four stirrups. A precast slab connects to the column with four number five dowels at each column with four inches of embedment.
