An HSS 10 x 4 tube connects to a building wall panel using embed plate A. The tube is supported by top and bottom C10x20 channels at the perimeter, welded with a half-inch fillet weld at the top and bottom beam to outrigger connection. The HSS tube is secured to embed plate A with three-sixteenths inch fillet welds on each side of the tube. Embed plate A consists of a one-half inch thick plate measuring ten inches high with four three-quarters inch diameter by eight inches long welded studs. The overall projection from the edge of steel to the face of the panel is two feet one and one-half inches, accommodating a two inch recess.
