Multiple core-drilled or formed concrete slab openings are spaced according to diameter criteria with a maximum effective length of thirty-two inches. The effective opening outline encloses closely spaced penetrations where clear distances between adjacent edges must be less than or equal to the diameter. Trim reinforcement must be provided per sheet S520 when the effective length of an opening exceeds eight inches.
