A six-inch diameter safety yellow painted steel pipe with a rounded top is filled with concrete and extends five feet above the finished surface. The pipe is embedded into a concrete retaining wall and footing at the ramp. A layer of thirty-pound felt paper separates the assembly, and paving and slab thicknesses are to be verified on site.
