A continuous knife plate passes through the center line of both square and round hollow structural section or pipe columns along the girder line. Shear plate connections are detailed per schedule A with thicknesses matching the schedule requirements plus one-sixteenth of an inch. Additional framing angles are provided per plan where indicated at the round column detail.
