A reinforced concrete grade beam sits below finish grade with dimensions and stirrup sizes determined by the foundation schedule. Two number four dowels spaced at sixteen inches on center extend with twelve inches of embedment into the grade beam. The footing extends into adjacent footings with widths and depths governed by schedule requirements.
