Steel joists and girders bear at a steel column in this structural connection. The steel girder bearing end connects with two three-quarter-inch diameter A325 erection bolts. The steel joist bearing end connects with two half-inch diameter A325 erection bolts. Three-quarter-inch by six-inch by zero-foot-six-inch stabilizer plates are provided at girders, while three-eighths-inch by six-inch by zero-foot-six-inch stabilizer plates with thirteen-sixteenths-inch diameter holes are used at joists. Bottom chords are left unwelded to the stabilizer plates unless noted otherwise.
