A headed bolt or threaded rod with a hex nut and spoiled threads is embedded within a reinforced concrete masonry unit wall assembly. Two continuous number five reinforcing bars run horizontally within the grouted cells maintaining a one-inch typical clearance. A positioning template is required for proper placement of the anchor during construction. The threaded end extends through the assembly to receive the fastening hardware with a specified one-and-one-quarter-inch dimension.
