A bottom channel stair stringer and top tube stair stringer tie into the edge of a concrete on metal deck slab, which is supported by a steel beam where indicated on plan. The structural connection relies on steel-to-steel components sized per the structural connection schedule. An architectural guardrail mounts directly above the top tube stringer. Fillet welds of one-quarter inch at twelve inches on center secure the stringer assembly.
