A recessed projection screen with a maximum operating weight of 150 pounds is suspended below a lightweight concrete over metal deck floor slab. The assembly hangs from a Unistrut P1000 channel secured to the concrete deck with four 1/2-inch diameter expansion anchor bolts having a 3 1/2-inch embedment. Two pairs of 1/2-inch diameter A307 rods connect the screen housing to bent plates (16 gauge by 3 inches by 6 inches) at the top and bottom. Four 12-gauge splay wire braces provide lateral seismic support, featuring four tight turns within 1 1/2 inches from both ends per the bracing key plan.
