The post-tensioning tendon terminates at a stressing end anchorage embedded within the concrete structural element. Continuous number four reinforcing bars run top and bottom for slabs only, positioned one inch clear of the anchorage assembly. A pocket form maintains the recess at the concrete edge with a three-quarter-inch minimum clearance. Heavy-duty tape wraps the tendon to prevent cement paste flow into the anchorage during concrete placement.
