An electrical transfer switch with a maximum operating weight of 2,230 pounds and a center of gravity height of three feet six inches above the concrete pad is anchored using half-inch diameter stainless steel Simpson Strong-Bolt 2 expansion anchors passing through mounting holes in the rail or plate per manufacturer specifications with two and one-half inch embedment into the concrete. The minimum distance from the center of any anchor to the edge of the slab or construction joint is six inches.
