The bottom track of a metal stud partition is anchored at a door opening. The bottom track is fastened to the floor assembly with jamb anchors spaced per schedule. The vertical metal stud flange is secured to the track with number ten sheet metal screws on each flange, with fasteners located within six inches maximum from the end.
