A cold-formed steel stud wall panel bears on a continuous one-quarter-inch plate secured to an existing steel beam with mechanical bolts per the contract. A track section measuring XXXT250-53 anchors the base of the CFS stud wall, which is sheathed with Sureboard and secured using panel edge screwing. An existing metal deck running parallel is trimmed back and attached to the plate using powder-actuated fasteners spaced at twenty-four inches on center. A one-quarter-inch fillet weld spaced at two inches by twelve inches joins the structural components.
