A wind girt connection frames into a vertical steel post member. A C8x11.5 channel girt runs along the top and bottom of the wind girt at the mid height of the post. Connection angles measuring L4x4x3/8 by 8 inches long tie the girt assembly to the support column using typical quarter-inch fillet welds. A W18x35 beam is positioned nearby with welded connections detailed with typical quarter-inch fillet welds at twelve-inch spacing.
