A structural steel connection joins a truss girder and beams to a column with a knife plate measuring 7/8 inches by 2 feet zero inches typical. Three 3/8-inch stiffener plates at 4-inch gauge are typically centered along the assembly. A 3/4-inch by 1-foot 2-inch plate includes two 3/4-inch diameter erection bolts typical. A 3/4-inch by 6-inch stabilizer plate is left unwelded to the girder. Fillet welds of 5/16-inch and 1/4-inch sizes secure the connection components as indicated.
