The thickened concrete slab on grade edge features a one-foot-zero-inch minimum depth below finished grade and a one-foot-zero-inch footing width. Two continuous number four reinforcing bars run horizontally along the top perimeter. An additional single continuous number four reinforcing bar is placed near the bottom corner. Number four reinforcing bars spaced at eighteen inches run diagonally through the thickened haunch transitioning to the slab reinforcement. Slab thickness and reinforcement are sized per plan.
